Terms Of Use & Waiver

The following Terms of Use apply when you enter and use the Selfie Studio Toronto facility. For purposes of this agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s services accessed upon entry, in which users can use Selfie Studio Toronto to take photos, videos, create content and experience 24 unique looks with life-sized props. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of our Service. The Service that is, Selfie Studio Toronto, is run and owned by Prop Depot Inc./Marquee Letters Toronto.

Please review the following terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you signify your agreement to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms of Use in their entirety, you may not access or use the Service.  

ABOUT SELFIE STUDIO TORONTO

Toronto just got more Picture-Perfect. Show your Instagram and Tik Tok feed some love with Toronto's first Selfie Studio. Enjoy the experience of 24 unique looks with life-sized props for the perfect photo op. 

The Service allows you to take photos, videos, create content and experience 24 unique looks with life-sized props. Great for, but not limited to,  just you, you and friends, content creators, host an event, birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, etc.

RULES FOR USER CONDUCT AND USE OF THE SERVICE

1. Have fun & take lots of photos. Share them with us on social media by tagging @selfiestudiotoronto or #selfiestudiotoronto on Instagram and Tiktok.
2. A shutter remote is assigned to you upon entry to remotely take photos with your mobile device/ cell phone. This remote is property of Selfie Studio Toronto and must be returned before leaving the facility. Failure to return remotes will attract a fine of $25.00.
3. To connect remote: Turn the remote on by switching the on/off button. The blue indicator light will begin flashing. Open the Bluetooth Settings on your mobile device and activate your Bluetooth function. Select the device “AB Shutter3”. Open your camera app and press the respective button for your iOS or Android Operating System. If you are not able to connect successfully, please ask a Selfie Studio Toronto Representative for assistance. 
4. All props and items within the studio are property of Selfie Studio Toronto. The Service that is, Selfie Studio Toronto, is run and owned by Prop Depot Inc./Marquee Letters Toronto. 
5. Props/Items should not be moved, relocated, removed or changed in any way. (exclusions: ring lights)
6. Ring Lights can be moved from studio to studio as needed. Ring Lights should be handled with care. Users are to report any damages to a  Selfie Studio Toronto Representative. Users are liable for intentional damage or malicious use of ring lights. 
7. You/user to take care when moving/using ring light to ensure that mobile devices are secure and safe. You/User takes full responsibility of the mobile device/cell phone when using the ring light. Any falling/breaking, damaging of a mobile device/cell phone is the sole responsibility of the user.
8. Climbing on the props is strictly prohibited..
9. Removing props/items from the premises is not permitted. (example, but not limited to: ball pit balls, shutter remotes, ring lights, etc.)
10. All props & items within the studio are for the purpose of taking photos only. Props and items are not for bearing body weight or physical play (exclusion: ball pit balls). Props & items are to be treated with care and respect and left in good order. 
11. Writing on the walls is strictly prohibited.

Ball pit use:

1. No shoes are permitted in the ball pit.
2. Ball pit balls should remain inside the ball pit and should not be thrown out, or removed from the premises.
3. If a ball falls out of the pit accidentally, please return it back to the pit before moving to another studio. 
4. Personal items like car/house keys, wallets, cell phones and other pocket-sized items may fall out of your pocket when using the pit. Selfie Studio Toronto recommends removing personal items from your person or pockets before ball pit use. We assume no responsibility for lost or damaged items while using the ball bit. 

General Use

1. The use of confetti is not permitted. 
2. The use of smoke bombs or fire sparklers is not permitted. 
3. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the building.
4. No running inside the building.
5. No running with the ring lights.
6. Treat the space with care and respect and leave it in good order. 
7. Selfie Studio Toronto reserves the right to ask you to leave if terms of use are not adhered to.

And, again, have fun, take the most Instagrammable photos and videos, and share the experience!

By agreeing to these terms and purchasing a ticket/entering the selfie studio you, the user of Selfie Studios Toronto services, hereby RELEASES, ACQUITS AND FOREVER DISCHARGES, and WAIVES any and all Claims against any of the Released Parties that arise from or relate to their entry and participation in the Activities- including, but not limited to, the types of claims enumerated in Parties shall not be liable to them, their family, or their guests, for personal injury, property damage, or any other Claims arising from or related to the undersigned’s entry into and participation in the Activities. The Service that is, Selfie Studio Toronto, is run and owned by Prop Depot Inc./Marquee Letters Toronto.

The Undersigned understands, acknowledges and accepts that participation in the Activities involves certain inherent risks, including, but not limited to, property damage, serious bodily injury, physical or psychological injury, pain, damage, suffering, harm, temporary and/or permanent paralysis and/or death to the Undersigned and/or his/her child, and agrees that the Undersigned and his/her child are voluntarily participating in the activities and services with full knowledge of the risks involved and accepts all risks of participation. Further, the Undersigned agrees to follow all of the terms of use rules mentioned above.

The Undersigned gives the company, its assigns, licensees and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use my photograph/image/audio recording/video recording and likeness ("My Image") in all forms and manner including but not limited to publication on Internet Web Sites, Social Media, broadcasts, and any other publications as release to, for or by Selfie Studio Toronto.

The Undersigned agrees to indemnify the Company and the Company Representatives against any and all claims, actions, lawsuits, damages and judgments, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or relating to the Undersigned’s participation in the Activities and Services. This Waiver shall not be in any way construed as an admission of the Company of any liability and/or responsibility.

This Waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior oral or written agreements or understandings between the parties concerning the subject matter of this Waiver. This Waiver may not be altered, amended or modified, except by a written agreement by both parties. The Undersigned hereby acknowledges that the Undersigned is freely, knowingly, and voluntarily entering into this Release and Waiver and has carefully read and fully understand all of the provisions herein.

BY PURCHASING A TICKET AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN THE SERVICES THAT SELFIE STUDIO TORONTO PROVIDES YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF USE, UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF USE, AND WILL BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
